Remember the 90s’ heyday of the Delia’s catalogue? The excitement when it finally appeared in the mail. Flipping through each page, relishing each ineffably cool look and planning the new school year in outfits. There’s something so inspiring, sartorially-speaking, about the 90s clothing catalogue. It’s the same magic — the story-telling, the intricate creation of a mood — that also characterizes fashion magazine editorials. Since the death of the catalogue — phone lines swapped out for dial-up connections — it’s a spark that’s been missing from the online retail experience. And it’s a spark that New Zealand-based model and entrepreneur Becca Haeger is trying to rekindle through her new, ultra-stylized e-shop That Looks.

At age 17, Becca was discovered by a model scout while shopping at a department store in her native Auckland. It was through modelling that she discovered a love

Apparel Sales Get Dressed Down For Holiday

Changing styles in fashion are nothing new. But the style changes on display in 2020 are quite a bit different than previous years. Consumers are staying at home and as a result paying a lot less attention to their personal style. Mastercard’s holiday spend data effectively sums up the story. Consumers did their fair share of shopping this season — home furnishings, home decoration, and home improvement products all had a banner season as consumers set about more perfectly feathering their nests. But apparel sales dropped off 19 percent year on year, according to the data.

Here’s How Much Kate Middleton Spent on New Royal Fashion in 2020

Kate Middleton, like the rest of us, went into lockdown in March as the coronavirus pandemic spread — but her royal duties didn’t stop, and so neither did her royal wardrobe. As per their annual tradition, Daily Mail has released the Duchess of Cambridge’s total spend on new clothing this year, including outfit-by-outfit breakdowns of each new item and its listed price. And in 2020, despite the fact that she technically only needed to be dressing from the waist up for a good portion of the year — the joys of Zoom fashion — that number still came out to over $100,000. Though honestly, who among us hasn’t been stress-shopping through the pandemic?

Daily Mail calculates Kate’s wardrobe total at £94,000, or around $128,000. They also note that this is less than last year’s spend of £103,075 (around $140,000). Her most expensive outfit, they note, came before the

How Kristen Wiig transformed into Cheetah for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’

Spoiler alert! The following post contains light spoilers for the new movie “Wonder Woman 1984.”

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – In the top level of an old mall turned into a vibrant 1980s shopping center for “Wonder Woman 1984,” Kristen Wiig has poured herself into a lacy, form-fitting black dress accessorized with some seriously high heels. She’s light years from the drab discount-store couture she wore as Target Lady on “Saturday Night Live.”

“You look amazing,” an employee tells Wiig’s character, Barbara Minerva, who’s doing some shopping for a gala event and checking herself out. “Do you think it’s too tight?” Wiig asks, leading her helper to confirm that “it’s just right.”

“Wow,” a self-impressed Barbara tells the woman. “I’ll take it.”
